Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to broil.
  • Season the cubed steak on both sides with steak seasoning and teriyaki sauce.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the steak until it gets a golden-brown crust.
  • Move the browned steak to a baking sheet.
  • Sauté diced green peppers and onions in the skillet until they are tender.
  • Put the seared steak on top of the sautéed vegetables and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Broil the steak in the oven until the cheese melts and bubbles.
  • Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving on toasted garlic-butter hoagie rolls.
