  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary Chopped, adds aroma.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme Chopped, enhances flavor.
  • 1 clove garlic Minced for the butter.

Preparation

  • Bring the beef tenderloin to room temperature by letting it sit out for about 30 minutes.
  • Trim any silver skin and excess fat from the beef tenderloin.
  • Tie the tenderloin with butcher’s twine to ensure even cooking.
  • Mix the garlic, butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper to create a seasoned butter and rub it all over the tenderloin.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the seasoned beef tenderloin in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 25 minutes, checking the internal temperature. Aim for 135-140°F for medium-rare.
  • Once cooked, remove the tenderloin from the air fryer and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, classic mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Pair with a full-bodied red wine like Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot for an elevated experience.
