  • 2 pieces Sirloin or Ribeye steaks Choose steaks that are at least 1 inch thick for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic butter Melted for drizzling before serving.
  • Additional seasonings (optional) Such as garlic powder, paprika, or onion powder.

Preparation

  • Let the steaks come to room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and lightly oil them to help with browning.
  • Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  • Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Resting

  • Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5-10 minutes, loosely covered with foil.
  • Drizzle melted garlic butter over the steaks before serving.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, baked potatoes, or a fresh salad for a complete meal. Store leftover steak in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
