  • 1 can apple pie filling Store-bought apple pie filling works best.

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon For flavor enhancement.
  • teaspoon nutmeg Adds warmth to the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the overall taste.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit package instructions.
  • In a bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
  • Take the buttermilk biscuits and flatten each one slightly.
  • Add a spoonful of apple pie filling to the center of each biscuit, then fold the biscuit over and pinch to seal.
  • Dip each filled biscuit into the butter mixture, coating well.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for the time specified on the biscuit package or until golden brown.
  • Once baked, drizzle any remaining butter mixture on top before serving.
