Preparation

  • Peel and dice the apples into bite-sized chunks.

Cooking

  • Mix cornstarch with water in a cup, then pour into the saucepan.
  • Let the mixture bubble gently while stirring, until the apples are soft but not mushy and the sauce has thickened, about 7 to 10 minutes.

Notes

This filling can be stored in the fridge for up to four days or frozen for up to three months. Thaw overnight or reheat as needed.
