Chicken

  • 1 pound Chicken breasts Cut into equal pieces for even cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation of Marinade

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, brown sugar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  • Place chicken in a zip-top bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
  • Seal the bag and shake to ensure chicken is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Grilling

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  • Grill chicken for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Baste with leftover marinade during the last few minutes of cooking for added flavor.

Serving

  • Serve chicken hot, paired with rice vinegar sides like steamed jasmine rice or a fresh cucumber salad.
  • Garnish with chopped scallions for added flavor and presentation.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, preheat the oven to maintain moisture.
