For the filling

  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for best results.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Ensure bacon is crispy for best texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with other cheese types.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until everything is combined.
  • Take a small amount of the beef mixture and flatten it in your hand.
  • Add a few pieces of crumbled bacon and some shredded cheddar cheese in the center.
  • Fold the beef mixture around the filling to form a ball.
  • Repeat this process with the remaining mixture and place the balls on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve warm and enjoy with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or BBQ sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. To reheat, bake at 350°F (175°C) until heated through.
