  • 8 oz Spaghetti
  • 1 lb Scallops Fresh or thawed if frozen
  • 4 slices Bacon Cook until crispy
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • to taste Salt Adjust based on bacon used
  • to taste Black pepper
  • for garnish Parsley Chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain it and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  • Sauté minced garlic in the bacon fat until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Cooking

  • Add scallops to the skillet. Sear them on both sides until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  • Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently, blending the flavors.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti into the skillet along with the crispy bacon and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve hot, straight from the pan. Pair with a salad and white wine for an elegant meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
