Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup melted butter

  • 1 cup diced apples Diced small for better mixing

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey before serving. Store in an airtight container; keep at room temperature for a day or in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes if needed.
