Ingredients
  

For the bread bowl

  • 1 large loaf large round loaf of bread

For the filling

  • 1 wheel brie cheese Choose a good quality brie for the best flavor.
  • 4 slices prosciutto, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey Adjust to suit your spice preference.

For assembly

  • Olive oil For brushing the bread bowl.
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick shell.
  • In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic and hot honey together.

Assembly

  • Place the brie cheese inside the hollowed bread bowl.
  • Top the brie with the chopped prosciutto and drizzle the garlic-honey mixture on top.
  • Brush the outside of the bread bowl with olive oil.

Baking

  • Wrap the bread bowl in aluminum foil and bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve with the reserved bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

If you have any leftovers, let the bread bowl cool completely, then wrap it tightly and store in the refrigerator. Best consumed within a day or two. Consider pairing with crackers or crunchy vegetables for added variety. You can customize the toppings by using nuts or different herbs.
