Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½  cups all‑purpose flour
  • ¾  cup granulated sugar
  • 1  tsp baking soda
  • ½  tsp salt
  • 1  tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2 medium
  • 1  tsp vanilla extract
  • 1  tbsp white vinegar or apple‑cider vinegar
  • ¼  cup vegetable oil
  • ½  cup water
  • Optional add‑ins: ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F / 175 °C. Grease an 8×8‑inch pan or a 9×5‑inch loaf pan.
  • Dry mix: In the pan (or a bowl), whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Make wells: Create three small wells in the dry mix. Add vanilla in one, vinegar in another, and oil in the third.
  • Add bananas & water: Spoon mashed bananas over the top, pour water across everything, then stir until batter is smooth (fold in nuts or chips if using).
  • Bake 30–35 minutes (square pan) or 40–45 minutes (loaf pan), until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
