Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings Thawed if frozen.

For the Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon salt To season the wings.
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika For added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar For sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce Your choice of sauce for glazing.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Optional for a zingy twist.

For Serving

  • 1 cup celery sticks To serve on the side.
  • 1 cup carrot slices To serve on the side.
  • ½ cup blue cheese or ranch dressing For dipping.
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions or cilantro For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, combine salt, smoked paprika, brown sugar, and garlic powder.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry and rub them with the seasoning mix.
  • Let the wings marinate in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the wings on a rack over a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  • In the last 10 minutes, brush with your BBQ sauce and continue baking until caramelized.

Serving

  • Serve the wings hot with celery sticks, carrot slices, and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing.
  • Sprinkle with chopped green onions or cilantro before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, finish the wings under the broiler for a couple of minutes. Always check the internal temperature to ensure the wings are cooked through. Feel free to experiment with different sauces and marinades!
