Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 11–13 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are set.
  • Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
