Ingredients
  

  • 1 –2 lb salmon fillets skin-on
  • 1  Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1½  tsp smoked paprika
  • 1½  tsp garlic powder
  • 1  tsp sea salt
  • ½  tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your Masterbuilt electric smoker to 225 °F. Soak a handful of wood chips in cold water while heating.
  • Prepare dry rub by mixing brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Pat salmon dry with paper towels and remove any pin bones.
  • Apply rub: Place fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet and coat evenly with the dry rub.
  • Smoke prep: Lightly oil the smoker rack; fill the water pan. Set fillets skin-side down directly on rack.
  • Smoke until internal temperature reaches 145 °F (approx. 90 min). Add wood chips as needed.
  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with lemon slices.
