Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add in the granulated sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  • Stir in the vanilla and optional lemon extract.
  • Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

Baking

  • Bake for 70-80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before inverting onto a serving plate.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter.
