- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch for coating
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- ½ teaspoon garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper adjust to taste
- Optional garnish: green onions sesame seeds
Marinate Chicken: Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch and a little soy sauce. Let sit while preparing the veggies.
Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Sauté Vegetables: In the same pan, add onions and bell peppers. Cook until slightly tender. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Make Sauce: Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and black pepper.
Combine: Return chicken to the pan. Toss everything together until coated and heated through.
Serve: Garnish with green onions and serve hot with steamed rice.
