- 1 cup blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
