  • 1 cup frozen blueberries Choose high-quality, frozen or fresh blueberries.
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks Fresh pineapples can be used if available.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Boosts nutritional content.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Optional, for flavor.
  • 1-1.5 cups milk or milk alternative Almond milk, coconut milk or yogurt for creaminess.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the blueberries under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • If using fresh pineapple, peel and chop it into chunks.

Blending

  • Add the liquid base to the blender first.
  • Then add the frozen pineapple and blueberries.
  • Include chia seeds and cinnamon if using.
  • Blend on high until smooth. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.

Serving

  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Smoothies can be customized with protein powder or other ingredients to enhance nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
