  • ½ cup ground breakfast sausage Cooked until browned
  • 4 large eggs Scrambled with seasoning
  • 4 slices bread Choose your preferred type
  • 4 slices cheese Use your favorite variety
  • 2 tablespoons butter For cooking and grilling

Seasoning

  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Instructions
 

Cooking the Sausage

  • In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Scrambling the Eggs

  • In the same skillet, add a tablespoon of butter and scramble the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until just set and remove from heat.

Grilling the Sandwich

  • On a separate pan, heat the remaining butter and place two slices of bread on it. Layer each with cheese, scrambled eggs, and cooked sausage, then top with the other slice of bread.
  • Grill each sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  • Remove from the pan, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

Serve warm and fresh off the grill. Pairs well with fresh fruit or breakfast beverages like coffee or orange juice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
