Main Ingredients
- 2 cup cooked shredded chicken
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ cup cream cheese softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix about 1 oz
- 13 oz refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 tsp coarse salt for sprinkling
- ½ cup ranch dressing for dipping
Cooking
Heat the oven. Set the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the filling. Stir together the chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, cheddar, and ranch seasoning until thick.
Cut and fill. Roll out the dough, cut 24 squares, add a spoonful of filling to each, and pinch the corners shut into balls.
Glaze. Arrange the balls seam side down, brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and hot at the center, then cool for 5 minutes.
Substitutions: Use rotisserie chicken or leftover roast chicken, and swap blue cheese dressing for ranch.
Tips: Do not taste raw dough or egg wash, and pinch every seam shut.
Storage: Refrigerate for up to 3 days without freezing. Reheat in an oven set to 350 degrees F until 165 degrees F in the center.
