Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: lemon zest or red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2–3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add green beans to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter and garlic. Sauté for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Optionally, garnish with lemon zest or red pepper flakes.
  • Serve warm.
