  • 2 cups beef broth For cooking rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) For topping

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the rice and beef broth, bringing to a boil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is cooked.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add vegetables like bell peppers, peas, or corn. You can also mix in garlic powder or onion powder for seasoning.
