  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tub 8 oz whipped topping, thawed Can substitute with homemade whipped cream.

Mix-ins

  • 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling Can use sugar-free version for a lighter dessert.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans Optional ingredient based on preference.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until combined.
  • Add the cherry pie filling, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using), and carefully mix until everything is well combined.
  • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving to let the flavors blend together.

Notes

Best served cold in individual bowls or a large serving dish. Top with additional cherry pie filling or pecans for an extra touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, stirring gently before serving again.
