Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized strips or cubes.
  • 3 cups broccoli florets Fresh, can be pre-chopped.
  • 2 tablespoons oil For cooking the chicken.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce For flavoring the stir fry.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced for the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch To thicken the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar For sweetness.
  • to taste sriracha Optional for heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized strips or cubes.
  • Heat a splash of oil in a pan.

Cooking

  • Toss in the chicken, cook till it’s starting to brown.
  • Dump in your broccoli, stir, and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Pour into the pan, scrapping in the garlicky bits.
  • Stir everything around until the sauce gets glossy and coats the chicken and broccoli.

Serving

  • Serve hot with steamed rice, noodles, or whatever’s handy.

Notes

You can add carrots, snap peas, or red bell pepper for more variety. It can also be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
