- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter for noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley optional
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter for chicken
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: grated parmesan or lemon zest for garnish
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with 2 tablespoons butter, salt, pepper, and parsley. Set aside.
While noodles cook, season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter.
Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
Slice or shred the chicken and serve over buttered noodles.
