Brownie and Cream Layers

  • 3 cups brownie bites (approx. 750 g) Prepared according to package instructions or your favorite recipe.
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (450 ml) Whipped until stiff peaks form.
  • 2 cups fresh custard or mascarpone (500 g) Mixed until smooth.

Toppings

  • to taste fresh berries (for layering) Use a mix for added flavor and color.
  • to taste Maltesers (for topping)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare brownie bites according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Let them cool and cut them into cubes.
  • In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, mix the fresh custard or mascarpone until smooth.

Layering

  • Layer ingredients in a trifle bowl starting with brownie cubes, then custard, followed by whipped cream, fresh berries, and Maltesers. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  • Finish with a layer of whipped cream and top with extra berries and Maltesers.

Chilling

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

You can store any leftovers of your Chocolate Brownie Trifle in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap. It's best enjoyed within 3 days. For added crunch, consider adding nuts between the layers.
