  • 1 package 3.9 ounces of instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups whole milk Can substitute with unsweetened almond milk for a dairy-free version.
  • 0.5 cups cold unsalted butter Cut into chunks.
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips Can substitute with peanut butter chips for a unique flavor twist.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In the greased baking dish, mix together the dry chocolate cake mix and pudding mix.
  • Add the whole milk and mix until just combined, ensuring there are no dry spots left.

Adding Layers

  • Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top of the mixed batter.
  • Scatter chunks of cold butter over the top.

Baking
