  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center; it should come out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan.

Finishing Touches

  • Brush the warm bread with melted butter, and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over the top.
  • Slice the bread and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can freeze it for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
