  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8-count each)
  • 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thin Use varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter For greasing the baking dish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a baking dish, melt the butter and spread it evenly.
  • Arrange half of the cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the dish, pressing them down to form a layer.
  • Layer half of the sliced apples over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Repeat with the remaining cinnamon rolls and apples.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and apples are softened.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. It can be topped with icing from the cinnamon rolls or vanilla ice cream. For storage, cover with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
