Ingredients
  

For the Mojito

  • 4-6 leaves mint leaves Use fresh mint leaves for the best flavor.
  • 1 small lime lime (juiced) Juice the lime for freshness.
  • 1 ounce white rum 2 Tbsp.
  • ½ ounce coconut rum 1 Tbsp.
  • 1 ounce coconut cream 2 Tbsp.
  • 2 tsp simple syrup Adjust the sweetness to taste.
  • ice (crushed) Crushed ice for serving.
  • club soda Top off the drink with club soda.
  • 1 Tbsp raw sugar For the sugar rim.
  • tsp lime Just a squeeze of lime for the sugar rim.

Preparation

  • Start by making the sugar rim. Mix raw sugar and a squeeze of lime in a bowl.
  • Rim the edge of your glass with this mixture and set it aside.
  • In another glass or a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves along with the lime juice.
  • Add both kinds of rum, coconut cream, and simple syrup to the mixture.
  • Mix or shake until all the ingredients are combined well.
  • Fill the glass you prepared earlier with crushed ice.
  • Pour the cocktail mixture over the ice in the glass.
  • Top it off with club soda and give it a final stir.
  • Optionally, garnish with extra mint and lime for an extra touch and enjoy!

Notes

Best served cold with a fun straw or colorful garnish. Chill the glass beforehand for optimal refreshment. Drink fresh for the best flavor; store the mixture without soda in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
