Main Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk cold
- 1 ½ cup ice cubes
- ½ cup chocolate ice cream slightly softened
- 3 chocolate sandwich cookies 2 for blending and 1 crushed for topping
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup for the glass and topping
- ¼ cup whipped cream for topping
Cooking
Blend. Combine the milk, ice cream, ice, and 2 cookies in a blender and blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until thick and smooth.
Prep the glass. Swirl chocolate syrup around the inside of a tall glass.
Pour. Pour the frappe into the glass right away so it stays thick.
Top. Finish with whipped cream, a drizzle of syrup, and the remaining cookie crushed on top.
Substitutions: Use vanilla ice cream or a dairy free milk and frozen dessert if you prefer.
Tips: Add more ice for a thicker drink and keep the lid on while blending.
Storage: Drink right away, or refrigerate in a covered jar for up to 24 hours and blend again with fresh ice.
