Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup cottage cheese, full fat / whole milk For creamiest texture
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese Plus extra for serving

Seasonings

  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • Salt To taste
  • Black pepper To taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Set aside.
  • Add the cottage cheese, whole milk, parmesan cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil to a blender. Blend until smooth.

Cooking

  • Add the blended cottage cheese mixture to a large pan on the stove over low heat. Heat slowly until warmed to your liking, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the alfredo sauce. Toss to combine evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve and enjoy! Top with extra fresh parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and cracked black pepper.

Notes

Best served immediately while warm and creamy. Pairs well with a salad or steamed vegetables.
