Preparation

  • Start by washing and trimming the green beans.
  • Place the potatoes in cold, salted water, bring to a boil, and simmer until fork-tender.
  • Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes, then cool them in an ice bath.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter and stir in the ranch seasoning and minced garlic.

Combining Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked potatoes, blanched green beans, and crumbled bacon.
  • Pour the ranch butter sauce over the mixture and toss until everything is well coated.

Notes

If pre-cooking, store the bacon, green beans, and potatoes separately in airtight containers. Leftovers can be reheated in a skillet over low heat.
