  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Use full-fat for a creamy texture.
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded Fresh crab meat is preferred.
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Add more for cheesier flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Chopped green onions Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  • Stir in the crab meat, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the dip cool completely before transferring to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to enjoy again. Fresh crab meat gives the best flavor, and consider adding hot sauce for an extra kick.
