Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 5 –6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2–3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Place green beans in a baking dish. Pour sauce over the beans and toss to coat.
  • Top with crumbled bacon and optional red pepper flakes.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until caramelized and bubbly.
