  • 2 ounces mozzarella cheese Gooey cheese that melts well.
  • ΒΌ cup cranberry sauce Tangy and sweet cranberry sauce.

Preparation

  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice, buttered side down, on a clean surface.
  • Layer the Brie and mozzarella cheese on the unbuttered side.
  • Spread cranberry sauce over the cheese.
  • Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Place the sandwich in the skillet.
  • Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side.

Notes

Serve the sandwich warm while the cheeses are still melty. For easier eating, cut it in half and pair it with a salad or some chips. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best eaten within a day or two.
