- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 carrots sliced
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 package 9 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté for 5–6 minutes until softened.
Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
