Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks about 1 inch thick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the steak: Pat steaks dry, season with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the steak: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks 3–5 minutes per side depending on thickness and preferred doneness. Remove and rest.
  • Make the sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add cream & cheese: Pour in cream, Parmesan, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently until thickened, 3–5 minutes.
  • Combine & serve: Spoon sauce over the rested steaks. Garnish with parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
