  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined Fresh or thawed

Sauce and Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp olive oil For searing salmon
  • 2 tbsp butter For cooking shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a creamy sauce
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese For flavor and creaminess
  • 1 cup baby spinach Adds color and nutrition
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper Optional for added heat
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnishing

Instructions

Preparation

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  • In the same pan, add butter and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Cooking

  • Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened (about 3–5 minutes).
  • Add spinach and red pepper flakes, stirring until wilted.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a bit of pasta water to loosen if needed.
  • Top with shrimp and salmon. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm on individual plates or in a large serving bowl. Pairs well with a light salad or crusty bread. Add a sprinkle of extra Parmesan on top for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
