Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp Fresh or frozen, thawed
  • 8 ounces Linguine Dried
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Cream Heavy or half-and-half

Instructions

Preparation

  • Clean and devein the shrimp by rinsing under cold water and making a shallow cut along the back to remove the vein.
  • Marinate shrimp in olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice for 15-30 minutes.
  • Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil.

Cooking

  • Cook the linguine in salted boiling water for 7-9 minutes until al dente.
  • In a large skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  • Add marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  • Lower the heat and stir in cream, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Combine cooked linguine with the shrimp and creamy sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.

Notes

For a spicier version, add Cajun seasoning. You can also use gluten-free pasta options if needed. Ensure to avoid overcooking the shrimp for the best texture.
