  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For cooking the garlic and shrimp.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Enhances the overall flavor of the sauce.

Shrimp

  • 1 pound Raw shrimp (peeled and deveined) Fresh or frozen shrimp works. Thaw if frozen.

Seasonings

  • to taste Salt and pepper Essential for seasoning the shrimp and sauce.

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil water in a large pot and add the pasta, cooking as per package instructions (about 8-10 minutes).

Cooking the Shrimp

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  • Once the pasta is done, drain it and add it to the skillet with the shrimp.
  • Pour the milk and grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and shrimp, stirring to combine and heat through until the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, use milk instead of heavy cream. Add vegetables for a vegetarian option.
