Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle) Cook according to package instructions.

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for flavor) Cook until browned.

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking beef)
  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed Provides the creamy texture.
  • 1 cup milk Helps melt the cheese.
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes (optional) Add if desired for extra flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.

Preparation

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Cooking

  • Lower the heat and add Velveeta cheese and milk to the skillet, stirring until melted and well combined.
  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the cheese mixture and mix until the pasta is coated. If desired, stir in diced tomatoes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the pasta cool completely and transfer to an airtight container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
