Preparation

  • Set the oven to 200°C (about 400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix thoroughly until evenly blended.
  • Slice each hotdog lengthwise without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling.
  • Spoon the cheese filling into each hotdog pocket, pressing the mixture in firmly to secure.
  • Encase stuffed hotdogs in additional shredded cheddar cheese and use toothpicks as needed.

Baking

  • Arrange hotdogs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Allow the hotdogs to cool briefly before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like mustard, ketchup, or ranch dressing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
