Ingredients
  

For the coating

  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and halved Make sure to drain well.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For coating the artichokes.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  • Coat each artichoke heart with olive oil, then roll it in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
  • Place the coated artichokes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These artichoke hearts are best served warm. Pair with marinara sauce or aioli for dipping. For extra crispiness, consider adding cornmeal to the breadcrumbs or experiment with different herbs in the mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
