Crispy Parmesan Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Deliciously crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in garlic and cheese, roasted to golden perfection. A fantastic side dish or tasty snack.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts Trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 30 g Parmesan cheese Finely grated
  • cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F.
  • Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the base, cutting them in half, and removing the loose, rough outer leaves.

Mixing

  • Place the prepared Brussels sprouts in a bowl and pour in the olive oil. Toss gently to coat them.
  • Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Parmesan, and panko breadcrumbs over the sprouts.
  • Toss again to ensure everything is well-coated, then spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking tray, cut face down.

Roasting

  • Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, then flip them over and roast for another 10 minutes until the outer leaves are deep golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, immediately transfer the Brussels sprouts to a warm serving bowl. Scrape any loose Parmesan breadcrumbs off the tray and sprinkle them over the sprouts. Serve hot!

Notes

For best results, evenly coat the Brussels sprouts with oil and seasoning. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, use an oven or air fryer.
