- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 ½ cups long grain white rice uncooked
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt optional
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
Stir in the uncooked rice until well combined.
Pour the mixture over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and rice is tender.
Optional: In the last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, then cover again until melted.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving if desired.
