Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ½ cups long grain white rice uncooked
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt optional
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  • Stir in the uncooked rice until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and rice is tender.
  • Optional: In the last 10 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, then cover again until melted.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving if desired.
