Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • 6 –8 pepperoncini peppers
  • Optional: 1/4 cup juice from the pepperoncini jar

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasoning packets evenly over the chicken.
  • Add the pepperoncini peppers on top and pour in a bit of their juice if using.
  • Place the stick of butter on top of the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  • Shred chicken with two forks and stir well to mix with the juices before serving.
