- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
- 6 –8 pepperoncini peppers
- Optional: 1/4 cup juice from the pepperoncini jar
Place chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasoning packets evenly over the chicken.
Add the pepperoncini peppers on top and pour in a bit of their juice if using.
Place the stick of butter on top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until chicken is tender and easy to shred.
Shred chicken with two forks and stir well to mix with the juices before serving.
