  • 3-4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts Use as per preference
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (0.87 ounce each)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 ounce)
  • 1 can chicken broth (14.5 ounce)
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard (optional) Add for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a bowl, mix together chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
  • If using, stir in dijon mustard.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Season the chicken well for extra flavor. You can adjust the thickness of the gravy by adding more or less chicken broth. For a creamier texture, consider adding sour cream or cream cheese toward the end of cooking. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
