Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with Italian sausage or a meat alternative for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup diced white onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 9 oz refrigerated cheese ravioli Can substitute with frozen ravioli; adjust cooking time if necessary.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to add extra cheese for a cheesier dish.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in salt, black pepper, and marinara sauce.
  • In a crockpot, layer 1/3 of the beef mixture, followed by 1/3 of the ravioli and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining beef mixture and topping with the leftover mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until everything is cooked through and the cheeses are melted.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. Let cool completely before storing leftovers in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
