  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon garlic powder For aromatic flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon onion powder Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Adds a smoky taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Mix the brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the entire chicken.
  • Place the seasoned chicken on a piece of foil in the crockpot, breast side up.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
  • Check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F for safety.

Notes

For crispy skin, broil briefly after cooking. Use leftover chicken for salads, tacos, or pasta dishes.
